Our story
Hi there! We're Dan and Dan. In 2019, we started a company to kill bugs. While it was a simple idea, we had no clue what it would become or the impact it would have on our families, the team, and the community.

The Viral Challenge
We set out to give customers the best experience, but we also wanted to do fun things in the community to spread the word and give back. Dan S. decided to buy a Hollywood-grade Bigfoot suit and do a fear-factor style challenge: "Dan the Bigfoot" was born.
It was simple enough. But what happened as a result brought not only over 50 million views on social media, but got us featured on the local news and other publications.

Dan Schofield
Daniel Schofield made waves in the pest control industry for his unique way of marketing his companies. So he took all his knowledge and skill to create something amazing. With Bigfoot Pest Control, his alter ego came to the table, "Dan the Bigfoot" and has been invaluable to the growth and success of the business. His #1 goal is satisfied customers, and has done crazy things to go above and beyond!
Dan Christensen
Dan's local roots go deep, growing up on a family farm here in the Treasure Valley. Fun fact, his kids are 7th generation Idahoans (they already know they're never allowed to leave). In the 2010's he worked with multiple pest control companies and found a need for a different, better type of business. So, thinking like a true entrepreneur, he set out to build it himself. Dan is on the Board of the Idaho Pest Management Association and tries to elevate and collaborate with others in the industry.
