Bugs Don't Stand a Chance

Hey Homedale, it's Dan the Bigfoot here from Bigfoot Pest Control. I want to talk to you about keeping your homes and families safe from pests right here in Homedale, Idaho. We take care of everything from ants and rodents to mosquitoes and ticks.

Some pests, like wasps and spiders, can cause allergic reactions, and others, like mosquitoes and ticks, can spread diseases. That's why folks in Homedale trust my team of experts to keep their homes safe and pest-free.

Ant Problems in Homedale Ants can be a big headache. They love to eat the same kinds of foods we do, like sugars and fats, so they often invade kitchens. If you don't handle an ant problem quickly, they can cause damage to your home. Remember, ants can bite, and for some people, this can be really painful or even cause allergic reactions.

Rodent Issues Rodents are sneaky critters that can creep into your home through tiny holes. They leave droppings, chew on things like wires, and can even make walls and attics their homes. That’s why I offer my expertise to help keep these pests out of your homes, covering everything from mice to gophers.

Spider Control While many spiders are harmless, some, like the black widow or brown recluse, can be dangerous. Besides health risks, spiders also make those messy webs that nobody wants around. My team is great at handling spider issues, keeping your homes safe from these creepy crawlers.

For Businesses in Homedale If you run a business, you'll want to keep it free from pests too. We use a detailed five-step process that includes checking out your place, coming up with a plan just for you, treating the problem, and keeping an eye out to make sure pests don’t come back. This helps prevent damage and diseases, and keeps your customers coming back happy.

Mosquitoes Let’s not forget about mosquitoes—these pests are not only annoying but can also spread diseases. While it’s good to take steps like removing standing water and using bug spray, sometimes you need a bit more help. That’s where we come in with effective solutions to reduce mosquitoes around your home.

In conclusion, my team at Bigfoot Pest Control is here all year round to help make Homedale a great place to live, free from pests. Whether you're protecting your home or business, we’re here to help ensure everyone stays safe and healthy. Give us a call, and let’s keep Homedale pest-free together!

Story Time

Got a call from a homeowner in Homedale who said, “These little bugs are everywhere… and they smell if you touch them.”

Already knew. Elm seed bugs.

They had them all over the siding, patio, even sneaking inside around the windows. Not biting, not damaging anything, just… constant. And yeah, that smell doesn’t help.

Homeowner said, “We spray them with stuff we got at the store, and by the next day it’s like nothing happened.”

We show up and it’s classic. Tons of activity on the sunny sides of the house, especially where the elm trees were nearby. They were just piling up and looking for ways in.

We knocked down the clusters and treated the exterior, focusing on the foundation, siding, and those sun-exposed walls where they hang out. Also hit the cracks and entry points to keep them from getting inside.

Told them straight, “You’re not going to eliminate every single one overnight, but this will stop the buildup and the ones getting in.”

Also pointed out a couple things they could do. Seal a few gaps, keep doors and windows tight, and expect them to chase warmth this time of year.

Couple days later they text us, “Way fewer outside, and we haven’t seen them inside at all.”

That’s the goal. Control the swarm and keep them out of the house.
