Legendary Pest Control in Ontario, OR
Ontario homeowners deserve the same guaranteed service we've built our reputation on across the Treasure Valley. Same technicians. Same guarantee. Just across the river.
Ontario sits at the crossroads of eastern Oregon and southwest Idaho, and the pest environment here is shaped by exactly what surrounds it — the Snake River on one side, onion and potato fields in every other direction, a busy commercial corridor on SW 4th Avenue, and an older residential core with the kind of housing stock that gives pests plenty of ways in. Bigfoot Pest Control crosses the river to serve Ontario homeowners and businesses with the same licensed, guaranteed service we provide throughout the Treasure Valley. We've been doing it since 2019 and we stand behind every visit.

Common Pests We Treat in Ontario
Rodents Ontario's mix of agricultural processing, older residential neighborhoods, and active farm ground surrounding the city creates consistent rodent pressure year-round. Mice find their way into older homes through gaps that have developed over decades around foundation sills, utility penetrations, and crawlspace vents. The onion and potato operations nearby draw rodents toward commercial areas too. We find entry points, set up appropriate control measures, and seal access routes to stop the cycle rather than manage it indefinitely.
Wasps and Hornets Ontario's hot summers push wasp colonies into peak activity by July and August. Eaves, soffits, block fences, and the vegetation along irrigation ditches all give them reliable nesting spots. Older commercial buildings downtown see significant wasp pressure around rooflines and loading areas. We treat active nests and apply residual products to discourage rebuilding in the same locations.
Spiders Black Widows are common in Ontario, particularly in garages, crawlspaces, block walls, and any storage area that doesn't get opened regularly. The combination of older housing stock and the warm, dry summers makes Ontario solid Black Widow territory. Hobo Spiders show up too, especially in ground-level areas with clutter or moisture. Our treatments target the harborage areas they rely on and the insects that keep them fed.
Mosquitoes The Snake River bottomland and the irrigation infrastructure running through and around Ontario create serious mosquito breeding conditions from late spring through late summer. Properties near the river or low-lying agricultural areas see the worst of it. We assess your property, treat accessible breeding sources, and apply barrier treatments to outdoor living areas so the season is actually enjoyable.
Ants Ontario's irrigated yards surrounded by dry agricultural land give ant colonies a clear path toward your foundation. Odorous house ants, pavement ants, and the occasional harvester ant all show up here. Once they find a reliable food or moisture source inside, they move fast. We identify the species, locate entry points, and treat the colony at the source.
Cockroaches Ontario's restaurant and food service industry along the commercial corridor sees cockroach pressure more than most of the surrounding communities. Older kitchen infrastructure, food storage areas, and shared walls in commercial buildings all create the conditions they need. They spread quickly without professional treatment. We target harborage areas, treat cracks and voids, and follow up to confirm they're gone.
Bed Bugs Ontario's position as a regional hub — with a busy truck stop corridor and travelers coming through from both Oregon and Idaho — means bed bugs move through the area. Hotels, rental properties, and homes that receive secondhand furniture are all vulnerable. By the time most people realize they have an infestation, it's already established. We inspect thoroughly and treat the full problem.
Earwigs Earwigs are a frequent complaint in Ontario, especially in homes with irrigated landscaping close to the foundation. They build up in moist exterior areas and push inside through any gap they can find. Treating the exterior band where they congregate stops the majority of them before they make it inside.

Story Time
Got a call from a homeowner in Ontario, Oregon who said, “Where do I start. We’ve got bugs… just all kinds of bugs.”
Nothing crazy on its own. A few ants in the kitchen, spiders in the corners, something random in the bathroom, garage always had something moving. Just constant.
They told us, “It’s like we can’t get ahead of it.”
We show up and it makes sense. Warmer weather, irrigation, vegetation close to the house. Bugs were building up outside and just working their way in wherever they could.
We told them straight. “This isn’t one pest problem. It’s pressure from outside.”
So we handled it that way. Knocked down webs, treated the full exterior, laid granules where it mattered, and hit the main entry points hard.
Did a light interior treatment where needed, but most of the fix was outside.
Also gave them a few simple things to tighten up. Pull stuff back from the house, keep water from sitting, and don’t try to chase everything inside.
Set expectations. “You’ll still see a little at first, then it drops off.”
Couple days later they text us, “Feels like a different house. Not seeing bugs all day anymore.”
That’s the goal. Get things back under control and keep them there.
