Pest Control in Marsing, ID — Bigfoot Pest Control
Marsing is a small town with a big pest problem. Sitting right on the Snake River with farmland and high desert on all sides, Marsing homes deal with the kind of pest pressure that comes with rural living — mosquitoes from the river and irrigation ditches, rodents pushing in from surrounding fields, and spiders that move freely between the open desert and your garage. Bigfoot Pest Control serves Marsing homeowners and businesses with guaranteed service and a licensed local technician who knows the area.
Local Pest Control, Backed by a Guarantee
When you call Bigfoot, you get a licensed technician who understands the pest environment specific to Owyhee County — not a call center reading from a script.
Every treatment comes with the Bigfoot Guarantee: if pests come back between scheduled visits, so do we at no charge.
Common Pests We Treat in Marsing
Mosquitoes. The Snake River and the network of irrigation canals around Marsing create some of the best mosquito breeding conditions in the Treasure Valley. From late spring through summer, they're a consistent problem for anyone spending time outside. We assess your property, treat standing water sources and breeding sites, and apply barrier treatments to outdoor living areas so you can use your yard again.
Rodents. Fields and open land surrounding Marsing push mice, voles, and gophers toward homes, especially as seasons change and food sources shift. Mice get into walls, attics, and pantries faster than most people expect. Voles damage lawns and root systems. Gophers can tear up a yard in a hurry. We find entry points, set up the right control measures, and seal access routes to keep them from coming back.
Wasps and Hornets. Wasps are a regular problem in Marsing, particularly on properties with outbuildings, wood fencing, and mature trees. By the time most homeowners notice a nest, it's already well established. We treat existing nests and apply residual products to discourage rebuilding in the same areas.
Spiders. Black Widows are common in Marsing, especially in garages, sheds, wood piles, and crawlspaces. Rural properties with outbuildings or storage areas that sit undisturbed are particularly attractive to them. Our treatments target harborage areas and the insects they feed on.
Ants. Ants follow moisture and food sources, and irrigated yards surrounded by dry desert soil give them a clear path toward your foundation. Once they find a way inside, they move fast. We identify the species, locate entry points, and treat the colony at the source rather than just the visible trail.
Bed Bugs. Bed bugs are easy to miss because they feed infrequently and stay out of sight. By the time most people realize they have an infestation, it's already established. We inspect thoroughly and treat the full problem so you can sleep without worrying about it.
Cockroaches. When cockroaches show up they spread bacteria and are stubborn without professional treatment. We target harborage areas, treat cracks and voids, and follow up to confirm the infestation is gone.

Story Time
Got a call from a homeowner in Marsing who said, “Every time I walk out to the shop, I feel like I’m walking through tripwires.”
Spiders. Everywhere.
They had a detached shop and a back patio that basically turned into web central overnight. He said he’d knock them down, come back the next evening, and it looked like nothing ever happened.
We show up and it’s exactly that. Webs stretched across walkways, corners loaded up, and a ton of activity up in the eaves. Lights pulling in bugs, spiders just cashing in.
He told us, “I’m not scared of spiders… I just don’t want to wear them.”
Fair.
We knocked everything down first. Full de-web, got rid of all the active webs and egg sacs. Then treated the house and shop top to bottom, especially those upper corners where they hang out. We use a specific product for spiders that has a quick action followed by a residual.
Also pointed out the lighting. Same deal. “You’re feeding them every night.” Told them to swap a couple bulbs and that helps cut down the food source.
Set expectations. “You’ll still see a few for a week or so, but it’ll drop off quick.”
Few days later he texts us, “Walked to the shop last night… no webs to the face.”
That’s the win. No more surprise clothes.
