Story Time

Got a call from a homeowner in Marsing who said, “Every time I walk out to the shop, I feel like I’m walking through tripwires.”


Spiders. Everywhere.


They had a detached shop and a back patio that basically turned into web central overnight. He said he’d knock them down, come back the next evening, and it looked like nothing ever happened.


We show up and it’s exactly that. Webs stretched across walkways, corners loaded up, and a ton of activity up in the eaves. Lights pulling in bugs, spiders just cashing in.


He told us, “I’m not scared of spiders… I just don’t want to wear them.”


Fair.


We knocked everything down first. Full de-web, got rid of all the active webs and egg sacs. Then treated the house and shop top to bottom, especially those upper corners where they hang out. We use a specific product for spiders that has a quick action followed by a residual.


Also pointed out the lighting. Same deal. “You’re feeding them every night.” Told them to swap a couple bulbs and that helps cut down the food source.


Set expectations. “You’ll still see a few for a week or so, but it’ll drop off quick.”


Few days later he texts us, “Walked to the shop last night… no webs to the face.”
